In 2009 Will Kopelman negotiated the sale of a bronze cannon from the HMS Victory, a British battleship that sank in 1744. He attended Taft boarding school in Connecticut.

Grey Gardens is an HBO film about the lives of Edith Bouvier Beale/"Little Edie", played by Drew Barrymore, and her mother Edith Ewing Bouvier/"Big Edie", played by Jessica Lange. Co-stars include Jeanne Tripplehorn as Jacqueline Kennedy (Little Edie's cousin) and Ken Howard as Phelan Beale (Little Edie's father). The film, directed by Michael Sucsy and co-written by Sucsy and Patricia Rozema, flashes back and forth between various events and dates ranging from Little Edie as a young débutante in 1936 moving with her mother to their Grey Gardens estate through the filming and premiere of the actual 1975 documentary Grey Gardens.

Filming for the HBO film began on October 22, 2007 in Toronto. It first aired on HBO on April 18, 2009.

Going the Distance film revolves around the relationship between a couple who try to maintain a long-distance relationship, where one lives in New York and the other in San Francisco.

Filming their scenes for upcoming flick "Going the Distance", Drew Barrymore and her on-and-off boyfriend Justin Long were snapped locking lips on the film's set in New York City on Thursday, August 6. The twosome was photographed passionately kissing when riding on a boat.

Attractive ladies whip around the rink, jostling for points and attention. Could she, Bliss, do this, too? Lying about her age, the young waitress is soon renamed Babe Ruthless and becomes part of the Hurl Scouts team. A very fast skater, her stardom and team begin to rise in the standings.

But, since her parents do not know she is not attending the SAT classes she said she was while she is out of the house and with a young rock singer making eyes at her, will Bliss' future be, well, blissful? This is a five star, knockout debut for Barrymore and all of the others. What an intriguing, heartfelt story and homage to a little-known "sport" and what an energetic, inventive direction of it by our little Drew, now grown-up. The swimming pool scene alone is worth any ticket price. Then, too, the characters are wonderfully real and touching. Especially admirable is the way conflicts are resolved without shouting and with much love. In the main roles, Page, Harden, Stern, Barrymore herself, Juliette Lewis, Jimmy Fallon and all, all of the other cast members are terrific! The setting in Texas is lovely, the costumes are quite nice and every one of the other production niceties are topnotch. In short, whip out even twelve bucks or more to see this totally winning film. Awesome, Drew and Ellen, simply awesome...you go, girls!

In 1995, Drew Barrymore formed Flower Films, a production company, with business partner Nancy Juvonen. The first film produced by the company was 1999's Never Been Kissed. The second offering from the company was Charlie's Angels (2000), a major box office success in 2000 that helped solidify the standing of both Barrymore and the company.

When the production of Richard Kelly's debut film, Donnie Darko, was threatened, Barrymore stepped forward with financing from Flower Films and took the small role of Karen Pomeroy, the title character's English teacher. Although the film was less than successful at the box office in the wake of 9/11, it reached cult film status after the DVD release, inspiring numerous websites devoted to unraveling the plot twists and meanings.

In 2003, Drew Barrymore reprised her role as Dylan Sanders in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, was nominated for an Emmy Award for her performance in Olive, the Other Reindeer and appeared with Ben Stiller in Duplex in 2003. Flower Films produced 50 First Dates with co-star Adam Sandler's Happy Madison company in 2004.
